Introducing the Rewire.
Hi there! A few of you have been asking what I’ve been up to recently. I’d like to invite you to join me as I start something new — a new publication and community I’m calling The Rewire.
Humanity has come far, but has left its mark.
Those who know me, know I am an optimist. However, rapid innovation has left us with severe and unintended consequences.
The summer of 2023 is not only the hottest on record it is by far the hottest (more than four standard deviations from the average just thirty years ago 🤯)
We owe the planet a huge debt. How do we incentivize companies and governments to pay it back?
The Economist.
The Economy can solve this.
Luckily, we aren’t alone. A new generation of leaders in economics, science, and technology is working on this question.
The Rewire will be a place to ask —
what will it take to rewire our global economy to a sustainable one?
What I plan to do.
I want to create a place to bring smart, passionate, and energized people together to riff on ideas and form new perspectives — along our journey, this will be my attitude:
To be bold and explore uncharted territory.
To look optimistically to the future and our capacity to innovate.
To be pragmatic and solution-oriented.
To make sustainability human and approachable.
